Dr. Holly Wilson provides comprehensive, evidence-based risk assessments for individuals involved in the criminal justice system. With extensive experience conducting forensic risk assessments, she specializes in evaluating the risk of sexual, violent, and general recidivism using assessment methods supported by the best available scientific research.

Dr. Wilson is committed to providing balanced, objective, and individualized evaluations that consider each person’s unique history, strengths, and risk factors. Her assessments are designed to answer referral questions clearly and accurately while identifying factors that may support risk reduction and positive change. Clients can expect a respectful, collaborative assessment process where they have an opportunity to have their experiences and perspectives fully considered.

My hobbies include collecting books faster than I can read them.

Dr. Holly Wilson earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). She has worked for Correctional Service Canada, in addition to the Sexual Behaviours Clinic at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), the Forensics Program at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences, the Forensic Sexual Behaviours Program within the Nova Scotia Hospital, and the East Coast Forensic Hospital. In addition to risk assessment, she specializes in clinical diagnostic assessments and cognitive behavioural therapy for a range of mental health disorders, with expertise in posttraumatic stress disorder. 

Dr. Wilson is registered for autonomous practice with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario. She is also a member of the Canadian Psychological Association.
